Painting for Pleasure... Seriously

with William Park

5-day Workshop, May 31 - June 4, 2017

Wed - Sun, 10am - 4pm
2637 NE MLK, Portland (between Russell and Knott)

This workshop is designed to encourage each one of you to recognize what makes painting pleasurable for you. There will be many demonstrations and exercises that encourage and support this. We'll use brushes and various other implements for painting, moving and slathering the paint across the canvas and other surfaces.

I have found that stress is often an obstacle for experiencing the wonders and beauty of painting and that stress usually comes from believing you are not doing it how it is supposed to be done or you know how you want the painting to look and it just isn't cooperating. You will learn to tune in to yourself, express yourself. I will work with the group and with each of you individually helping you develop your painting skills. I can work with you whether your interests are abstract or more realistic.

PAINT MORE, THINK LESS

I will work in helping you discover your personal expression through paint. Help you to set aside the thoughts sent by the inner critics so YOUR truth can THRIVE.

I love to paint and truly enjoy passing my experience and enthusiasm on to others.
